Yael Dahan: Founder and Teacher

Yael Dahan grew up in Los Angeles, where discovered her passion for dance as a young girl. She studied ballet, tap, hip-hop, and musical theater at her local dance studios. Her enthusiasm for dance extends beyond personal practice; she's eager to share her knowledge and love for the art form with her students. Now embarking on the next chapter of her dance journey, Yael is excited to bring her vibrant energy and creative approach to teaching at Penny’s Dance Studio.

Chelsie started her dance journey at the School of Richmond Ballet when she was 8 years old, and continues to dance professionally, including with the Indianapolis Ballet and Eglevsky Ballet. Her favorite past performances include Balanchine ballets such as Serenade and Walpurgisnacht, and the classics including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Romeo and Juliet. She started teaching ballet while she was in college, and fell in love with the joy and magic that music and dance brings to children. She is excited for her second season with Penny’s Dance Studio!

Kylie is a dancer from Santa Barbara, California. She has trained in styles from hip hop, contemporary,  jazz funk, jazz, ballet, house, lyrical, tap and more. Kylie graduated from CLI conservatory’s year 4 class of 2025 and has worked and trained with world renowned choreographers such as Chris Scott, Robbie Blue, Teddy Forance, Martha Nichols and many more. She is now living in New York full time working on constant training, teaching and working as a commercial based dancer. Kylie leads with love and passion and priorities that feeling in a class and cannot wait to feel the love in class with you all!

 Hi my name is Alexa Barron and I am from California. I have danced for 15 years of my life and have been competing for 8 years. I have trained in ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. My personal favorite style is tap, and I specialize in teaching tap, ballet, hip hop, and jazz. I taught for 2 years in my hometown studio and am so excited to bring my passion for dance and love of teaching here to Penny’s Dance Studio! 

Liron Kichler is a New York based dancer, choreographer, and instructor with over 16 years of

teaching experience. She brings together her professional performance background and

extensive experience as an educator.

She has performed with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Fresco Dance Company,

Staatsoper Berlin, Habima Theater, and Cameri Theater. She also performed at the Eurovision

Song Contest alongside Netta Barzilai and performed and choreographed for the opera Die

Passagierin in Germany.

Her choreographic work has been presented internationally at festivals including the

Internationales Solo Tanz Theater Festival Stuttgart, SoloDue Festival Gdansk, and AS IS

Festival. Her latest solo, Pull Myself Together, premiered in New York at Arts on Site.

Liron trained with the Royal Academy of Dance, where she received distinctions, and studied at

the School of Visual Theater.

Miss Aspen started dancing at the age of 2 and was hooked from her very first ballet class and continued to dance competitively from the age of 6 until 18, where she won multiple awards in dance competitions around the country. She has been trained in all styles including her favorite, Musical Theatre. She trained at Denver School of the Arts where she majored in Theatre with a concentration in Vocal and Dance. There she trained with professionals in all aspects of performance. Aspen has been a teacher and choreographer for 7 years, as well as directing many youth theatre productions. Before moving to NYC, Aspen was the company director for Above the Barre Dance Company in the Chicagoland area, where her choreography earned multiple awards including a nomination for the Industry Dance Awards. She also coached for the Warren Township High School “Devilettes” award winning team.  As a professional dancer, Aspen was a performer at Six Flags Great America for 3 years as a featured singer and dancer in many of their shows including playing Katie in the award-winning Fright Fest Show Love at First Fright. In her spare time, Miss Aspen loves to craft, go on adventures with her friends, and take the occasional trip to Disney! Miss Aspen is so excited to be joining the Penny’s family and will see you all in class!
